Hi!
My name is Sam, I`m 29 years old, from Connecticut, and I`m the author of this site. I`ve been interested in music my entire life, and about a year ago I decided that I wanted to learn how to play acoustic guitar. I had little experience with guitar playing at the time, but I`ve been playing the piano and drums for many years.
I wanted to learn how to play as fast as possible, but found out that I didn`t have the time nor the money to be able to take classes. So what could I do? I went on Google and made a search for “how to play acoustic guitar“. And lo and behold, I actually found an answer to my questions. When I first began playing I couldn`t play a full song. Now I`m about to learn Recuerdos de la Ahlambra. This is actually the reason why I created this website, I thought maybe other people could learn from my experience.
This is my new guitar, by the way. It`s a Breedlove Jeff Tweede Signature LE. A great guitar, I highly recommend it. However, I must say that I really wanted an J-250 Monarch, but I couldn`t afford it because it costs an arm and a leg. (Seriously, the price tag said “An arm and a leg”). I couldn`t afford my Tweede either, so good thing I`ve got kind siblings and parents; they bought it for me for my birthday.
